It offers massive cash back on Airtel spends as well as utility bills. Airtel Axis Bank Credit card is how co-branded cards should be done!


Application Process

Another interesting point is that Axis does allow you to hold multiple credit cards.

There are two ways to apply for this card

  • Airtel Thanks Mobile Application>Buy New Service>Credit Card>Apply

  • Call their customer care if you already hold an Axis card and request for an upgrade /additional card.

Fuel Surcharge Waiver

1% Fuel surcharge is waived off for spends between ₹400-4000 upto a statement max of ₹500. Interestingly, you still need to pay the GST of 0.18% on fuel.

Savings Calculator

Do input your spends and check out your savings. As per the calculator, you get get more than 10% savings, if you spend in the accelerated categories.

Similar or Better Cards

No other similar credit cards. If you want to save on your Airtel expenses, this is the best way.

Conclusion

Co-branded credit cards can’t get better this. The 10% on utility bills could also be a stand-alone reason to take this card. Also the first year is effectively free for you to try it out.

Only hope that the caps are not reduced in the future for the Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card.
